Terms - Burren EBike Adventures

Participants must be aged 16 or above for Electric Bike rental.
Bikes cannot be taken more than 25km from the village of Kinvara without prior agreement with Burren EBike Adventures.
Bikes cannot be used off public, sealed, roads.
Bikes cannot be taken on public transport or any other mode of transport without prior agreement with Burren EBike Adventures.
Participants must attend a safety briefing prior to commencing the activity, and understand that they accept the potential hazards & risks, safety measures that are in place and what to do in an emergency situation.
Participants take part in this activity is at their own risk and that accept the risks involved and are responsible for their own actions and involvement.
Participants must at all times adhere to Burren EBike Adventures health and safety policies, wear PPE (Helmets and High-Visibility jackets) that is supplied and be aware of their duty of care to other participants and staff.
Participants must be physically and mentally fit for the activity and are not and will not be intoxicated by drugs or alcohol during the activity.
Participants must not have any underlying health conditions or pre existing injuries which could inhibit their ability to participate in the activity.

Pick up time and location must be arranged in advance with Burren EBike Adventures.
Pick up time is available from 9am.
Bikes must be dropped back by 5pm. Late returns will incur a fee of €10 per bike. Bikes not returned by 5.30pm will incur an extra days rental fee.
Standard Pick Up and Drop Off location is at Emo Service Station, Kinvara, H91 WP49.
If arriving by bus we can in most cases meet you in the village of Kinvara, at the Pier, opposite the Pier Head restaurant.
In some cases we may be able to meet you at your accommodation with the Bikes. This must be arranged in advance and is depended on the location of the accommodation.

Bookings must be made in advance. We recommend booking at least 3 days in advance.
Upon receive a booking request, via our website or phone, we will check availability, and if available, respond to you with confirmation and a payment link. If the payment is no made within 24 hours of this response, we can no longer guarantee availability.
Full payment is taken upon confirmation of booking.
Cancellation more than 7 days in advance will incur a 10% admin fee.
Cancellation betwen 7 days and 48 hours before will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 48 hours before, or no-show, will receive no refund.
In the case of cancellation due to a Yellow, Orange or Red weather warning (as issued by met.ie), you will receive a full refund.

The customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of all rental equipment, including bike, helmet, lock, and other accessories. The customer will be liable for the cost of any damage caused by unreasonable care of equipment.
The customer is responsible for locking and securing the bike at any stops. The customer will be liable for the cost of any theft of bikes or equipment if not secured.
